Anyone can use this form. You do not need an account. If a document
was sent to you through DBX Sign and something is wrong with it — you did not authorise it, it
uses material that is yours, or it looks like a fraud — this is the way to tell us.
We do not read the documents our customers send. That is deliberate: they are confidential
between the people on them. It also means we rely on you to tell us when something is
wrong, and we act on what you report.
It is printed at the top of the signing page and in
any email we sent you. If you do not have it, say what you can below.
A copyright notice carries legal weight. Before you send it, please consider whether
the use might be permitted — by licence, by agreement, or as fair use. If you knowingly
misrepresent that material is infringing you may be liable for damages, costs and legal
fees under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). We may send a copy of this notice, including your contact
details, to the person who uploaded the material.
We record your report with a reference you can quote.
We look at it — at who sent the envelope and when, not at what the document says.
If we act on it we disable access to the envelope and tell the sender. We do not alter
a sealed document, because that record is the evidence other people may rely on.
Reports we act on count against the sender's account. Three inside twelve months closes
it. The full policy is on our copyright page.
If you would rather write to us directly, our copyright agent's address is on
the copyright page.
